Kayynar Laverĝe was an Androgenan from planet Terra Androgena. She was the supreme commander in the female army during the Great Gender War.
Following the end of a long and enjoyable relationship due to her boyfriend's desire for someone without unusually pale flesh, Laverĝe lost her patience with the prevalance of male chauvinism in Androgenan society and left the planet in search of a solution. She was fortunate to encounter several like-minded women from various cultures and with them became one of the founding members of the Intergalactic Consortium of Angry Housewives. Her strong voice contributed to the selection of Terra Androgena as the first planet to be targeted by its campaign for equality, and hers were perhaps the most passionate of the speeches given there.
