Lars are the intelligent humanoid race originally from planet Garaga. They resemble Humans exactly in almost all respects except that they have psychic powers to read minds, levitate, and project force fields or illusions.
The Lars were nearly wiped out by the Umlangas after the latter species was genetically enhanced and turned against them by Earthlings led by the android Alf Dolf. After defeating Alf, they decided to give up their planet to the Umlangas and settle somewhere else. It is unknown where they went, but suspected that at least some of them traveled to Earth where they were absorbed into the native population.
