Roid is a beagle from planet K-9 and the eight-year-old brother of Aster. When Clark was purchased as a pet by Aster, Roid bought him from her for a whole allowance of eight bones and rescued him from a lifetime of water and dry cereal in a cage (that is, whenever Aster remembered to feed him). He used “Quark” to win a first place trophy and twenty-five bones in a pet show, and then persuaded the Bonezillion brothers to send all the “Ickies” back to "Ick" after they started eating their owners out of house and home.
