Sindla was a kind Shargoan greet-person from planet Tokl. If a visitor was friendly, Sindla would telepathically guide them under the protection of MOA. But when he encountered the Doctor’s assistant “Ixionian” he found the visitor’s suspicions and unreasoning fear of strangers loathsome, and shoved him in the TARDIS over a cliff where it smashed the Shargoans’ turbine for harnessing energy from the sea.
